PayNow Corporate: Easy & Secure

PayNow Corporate allows businesses to receive and make payments instantly using their Unique Entity Number (UEN) or QR codes.

PayNow Corporate is a service that allows your business to receive payments from other businesses and individuals instantly with just your Unique Entity Number (UEN), a PayNow QR code, or PayNow on SGQR.

You can also make payments via PayNow Corporate to businesses using their UENs or the new PayNow ID Type, VPA (UEN); to individuals using either their NRIC/FIN, mobile number or VPA (mobile number).NEW

Important Notice

  • Effective 1 December 2023: In accordance with the revised SGQR guidelines, PayNow QR codes generated via Maybank Business Internet Banking are only applicable for e-commerce purposes such as displaying it on invoices or websites. For retail display, please fill in the SGQR request form (PDF) and send it to SG.paynow@maybank.com. SGQR labels are provided free of charge for our valued customers.
  • Effective 1 March 2024: In accordance with the PayNow Scheme Rules, all PayNow Merchants are prohibited from imposing any surcharge or finance charges on customers for the usage of PayNow service or in connection with any PayNow transactions.

Steps to enable PayNow for new corporate customers

 

Step 1 : Sign up for Business Internet Banking (BIB) using this form and select "All-in-One" package, which includes the PayNow registration.

Step 2: Based on your preferred business solutions, follow the instructions below

Simply provide your UEN to any customer/vendor/supplier to make payment to you.
  • Register for PayNow on SGQR to combine all your QR payments into one QR label.
  • Email the completed SGQR form to SG.paynow@maybank.com
  • The bank will send out the printed SGQR code within 10 business days.
  • Display the SGQR code on your cashier counter for your customers to scan and make payment

For existing corporate customers


To Receive Payments via PayNow Corporate:

For Business Internet Banking (BIB) Customers

STEP 1:

(A) For customers without full BIB access (e.g. with only enquiry access), please complete the BIB Maintenance Form to apply for PayNow Services*. For more information on how to fill up the form, click here.

(B) For customers with full BIB access, login to BIB and select the PayNow tab to manage your PayNow registrations. You can also generate a PayNow QR to receive payments via PayNow.This service is available 24x7.

STEP 2:
Once you are notified that your PayNow registration is successful, you can inform your customers to pay you using your PayNow ID or by scanning your PayNow QR code.

To apply for SGQR labels, click here.

STEP 4:
To apply for All-in-one Terminal, please call 1800-Maybank (1800-629 2265).

*Please submit your completed form and supporting documents through your account-holding Branch or your Account/ Relationship Manager. Processing time is 5 days.

For Non-Business Internet Banking (BIB) Customers

We recommend that customers apply for Business Internet Banking (BIB) to view PayNow transactions instantly. BIB application available here.

 

STEP 1:
Download PayNow Registration Form here to register the UEN for PayNow. Scan the completed form and email to: SG.paynow@maybank.com.*

STEP 2:
Once you are notified that your PayNow registration is successful, you can inform your customers to pay you using your PayNow ID or by scanning your PayNow QR code.

STEP 3:
To apply for SGQR labels, click here.

STEP 4:
To apply for All-in-one Terminal, please call 1800-Maybank (1800-629 2265).

*Processing time is 5 days.

To Make Payments via PayNow Corporate:

Please ensure you have access to Business Internet Banking (BIB). Otherwise, you may apply for BIB by completing the BIB Application form and dropping it off at any of our branches.

For Single Payment

Existing BIB customers with access to the "Funds Transfer" service can immediately start making payment via PayNow.

If you do not have access to the "Funds Transfer" service, please submit the BIB Maintenance Form. For more information on how to fill out the form, click here.

For Bulk Payments

Existing BIB customers with access to the "Payroll Service (APS)" and/or "Inward/Outward GIRO (OBG)" service(s) can immediately start making payment via PayNow.

If you do not have access to the "Payroll Service (APS)" and/or "Inward/Outward GIRO (OBG)" service(s), please submit the BIB Maintenance Form. For more information on how to fill out the form, click here.

Suitable for:

Payments to Businesses or Government Agencies

(Please ensure that recipients have registered their UEN with their banks to receive funds via PayNow)

  • Business payments (e.g. suppliers/vendors)
  • Payments to Government agencies (e.g. taxes, levies, fees)

 

Payments to Individuals

(Please ensure that recipients have registered either their NRIC/FIN or mobile number with their banks to receive funds via PayNow)

  • Salary payments (e.g. temporary staff)
  • Ad hoc payments (e.g. refunds, claims)

Please ensure you have access to Business Internet Banking (BIB). Otherwise, you may apply for BIB by completing the BIB Application form and dropping it off at any of our branches.

For customers with non-physical retail store / website

(i.e. e-Commerce, or issue e-invoices)



Note:
Customers must have access to Business Internet Banking.

  • Select the "PayNow" service after logging in to Business Internet Banking.
  • Retrieve the PayNow IDs registered with Maybank to generate the PayNow QR code.
  • The generated QR code can be saved or shared to receive payments via PayNow.
For customers with physical/retail store or print invoices


  • Register for PayNow on SGQR to combine all your QR payments into one QR label.
  • Email the completed form to SG.paynow@maybank.com

Note: SGQR printing will take up to 10 business days.

Attention:
It is not advisable to use customer’s “Successful Payment” screen on their mobile app as an indication of a valid payment.
