MSpace at Maybank Hosts Fan Meet of Bryan Robson

It is not every day that a world-renowned football player holds a fan meet at a banking branch here. On the evening of 19 July 2019, Mr. Bryan Robson, a Club Ambassador from the Manchester United Football Club, was invited by Maybank to meet and interact with close to 100 Maybank Privilege and Cards clients at its latest innovative banking branch, MSpace at Maybank, located along Orchard Road.

Maybank is the official partner for Manchester United Tour 2019 in Singapore this weekend. Enthusiastic football fans crowded around Mr. Robson, snapping photos of him and getting his autographs on memorabilia. Mr. Robson also presented a signed Manchester United jersey to Maybank Head of Community Financial Services Singapore and Group Wealth Management, Mr. Alvin Lee. The fan meet lasted for an hour.

Maybank Extends 5 Year Partnership With Manchester United

Maybank Group started its partnership with Manchester United in 2011 with the launch of Maybank Manchester United Platinum Visa Card. Maybank recently renewed an agreement with Manchester United FC for five years, effective from 2019-2020 season, to cover cards markets in Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines. The extended agreement marks the success of the regional co-brand partnership.
