Get a Complimentary Travel Insurance when you charge your full travel package to your Maybank Credit Card

Benefits


Travel Accident Insurance

You can never be too prepared. Charge your full travel fares (including the fares of your spouse and children under 23) to your Maybank Credit Card, and be insured under the Master Policy for accidental bodily injury caused by violent external and visible means that may result in Death or Permanent Disablement within 12 calendar months.

Missed Flight Connections

  • Up to S$400 missed flight connection claims for Cardmember and Family

Be taken care of if you miss your confirmed onward connecting scheduled flight at the transfer point due to the late arrival of the incoming confirmed connecting scheduled flight, with no alternatives onward transportation made available within 12 hours of arrival. Get reimbursed when you charge expenses on hotel accommodations, meals and refreshments of up to S$400 to your Maybank Credit Card.

Luggage Delay

  • Up to S$400 luggage delayed claims for Cardmember and Family

Don’t panic if your luggage is not delivered to you within 12 hours of arrival at your travel destination. Get reimbursed when you charge emergency purchases of essentials, clothing and supplies of up to S$400 to your Maybank Credit Card at the destination.

Luggage Loss

  • Up to S$1,000 luggage loss claims for Cardmember and Family

Don’t fret if your luggage is not delivered to you within 48 hours of arrival at your travel destination. As the luggage is presumed to be permanently lost, be reimbursed when you charge emergency purchases of essentials, clothing and supplies of up to S$1,000 to your Maybank Credit Card within 96 hours of arrival at your travel destination. 

Repatriation of Mortal Remains

In the event of the death of an Insured Person during a covered trip, insurers will pay up to S$5,000 per person for the costs of the Repatriation of the Mortal Remains of the deceased to the location selected by the Insured Person's legal representatives.

 

Benefit is payable if:

  • Death benefit is payable (i.e. event is covered under the policy)
  • Death occurs during the covered trip. There is no cover if the Assured returned home but died subsequently due to complications of the accident
  • Subject to the actual cost incurred.

Required documents


To make the above claims, these are the documents for submission

  • Sales draft/Statement of Account showing that the purchase of the air ticket was charged to your Maybank Credit Card
  • Photocopy of the air ticket
  • Confirmation letter from the airline company
  • Missed Flight Connection
    • Sales draft to show that your Card was charged for the hotel accommodation, meals and refreshments
  • Luggage Delay/Loss
    • Sales draft where purchase of essential clothing and requisites have been charged to the Maybank Credit Card

The above documentary sales drafts and receipts are necessary and required for the submission of any claim. We will not be liable for any expenses or purchases you may incur that are not supported by any documentary proof.
