Maybank Group reports 2QFY21 Net Profit at RM1.96b
Maybank Group announced on 26 August 2021 that its net profit for the second quarter ended 30 June 2021 (2QFY21) came in at RM1.96 billion, up from RM941.7 million in 2QFY20. This came as loans continued to grow, net interest margin expanded from a more cost-effective funding mix, and impairments were lower than a year ago. Profit before tax for the second quarter stood at RM2.73 billion, compared with RM1.26 billion last year. |

Maybank-CDC Jobs & Skills Series
Jobseekers can now secure placement opportunities with local employers through a new series of job fairs supported by Maybank Singapore. The bank’s latest community initiative, the Maybank-CDC Jobs & Skills Series, was unveiled in July in partnership with the five Community Development Councils (CDCs) and the Employment and Employability Institute (e2i).
Maybank Singapore has pledged S$500,000 over two years to support CDCs and e2i in their job fair efforts. The bank will also tap into its business network to link small and medium enterprises clients with the CDCs and e2i to locate available job vacancies.

Maybank Group Wealth Management took home eight awards at the Global Private Banking Innovation Awards 2021, including the title of the Outstanding Private Bank for Growth Strategy and our second consecutive win for the Most Innovative Business Model for Maybank Private.
