Maybank customers to enjoy free online fund transfers to Malaysia during Hari Raya month

Monday, July 13, 2015 — To celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Maybank Singapore is offering its customers free online fund transfers to Malaysia via its RegionLink service. Customers can enjoy the fee waiver when they transfer funds via Maybank Online or Mobile Banking, from now to 16 August 2015.

The service usually costs $15 per transaction.

Head of Community Financial Services, Mr Choong Wai Hong said, “We know that many of our customers make online fund transfers to Malaysia and we wanted to make it easier to transfer funds to Malaysia without having to incur fees in the lead up to and during the Hari Raya month”.

In addition, customers also enjoy free cash withdrawals at all Maybank ATMs in Malaysia, making it even more convenient for them while reducing the need to carry large amounts of cash around.
