New Card Activation Steps for all Maybank Credit and Debit Cards

All new, renewal and replacement Maybank Credit and Debit Cards sent via mail are de-activated (blocked) status for security purpose.
Please activate your Card via any of the following methods for first time usage. Any transactions will be declined if Card is not activated prior to usage.
Maybank2u SG (Lite) App
Download “Maybank2u SG (Lite)” from App Store or Google Play
Sign up using your Credit and Debit Card details for first time login or login with your Maybank Mobile Banking details
Tap on 'Maybank2u' and 'Cards'
Select card to activate and tap “Activate”
Maybank2u SG App
Download “Maybank2u SG” from App Store or Google Play
Log in by signing up to Maybank2u SG using your Credit or Debit Card details
Select the Card to activate
Via Online Banking
LOGIN to www.maybank2u.com.sg (Online Banking)
Go to Settings
Select Cards Tab > Activate Credit/Debit Card
Select the Card to activate.
SMS
SMS to 79899 (only for Singapore registered mobile number): ACT<space><last 4 digits of your Card number> E.g. ACT 1234
Enabling of Magnetic Stripe for Overseas Use for Maybank Credit and Debit Cards
Please ensure you have activated your card before you attempt to enable the card for overseas use. You may enable your Card magnetic stripe for overseas use via the following channels:

Download “Maybank2u SG (Lite)” from App Store or Google Play
Sign up using your Credit or Debit Card details for first time login or login with your Maybank Mobile Banking details
Tap on 'Maybank2u' and 'Cards'
Select card to enable magnetic stripe and tap on 'Manage' button
Tap on 'Manage Magnetic Stripe for Overseas Use' to enable magnetic stripe
Maybank2u SG App
Download “Maybank2u SG” from App Store or Google Play
Log in by signing up to Maybank2u SG using your Credit or Debit Card details
Navigate to your card details and select 'Manage Overseas Card Usage' to enable your magnetic stripe
