How to reset Maybank2u password or retrieve username

Reset via Maybank2u SG app

Step 1: Launch the Maybank2u SG app and tap ‘Log In Now’ > ‘Existing M2U user? Log in here’.

Step 2: Select ‘Forgot login details
(If you are on the screen to enter password, select ‘Forget Password’ to reset)

Step 3: Key in one of the following and ‘Submit’:

  • Debit Card + PIN
  • Credit Card + Validity Date + PIN
  • Access ID + PIN

Step 4: Your username will be retrieved and displayed on screen. Proceed to create a new password.

Once confirmed, you may proceed to login with your newly created password.

 

Here’s a quick guide for you:

 

If you are logged in to the app and wish to change your password

Step 1: On the home dashboard, tap the Settings’ icon

Step 2: Select ‘Maybank2u’ > ‘Change password

Step 3: Create a new password that meets the specified criteria and authorise the password change when prompted.

Reset via Maybank2u Online Banking

Step 1: Visit www.maybank2u.com.sg > ‘Login’ and select ‘New M2U Online Banking’.

Step 2: Select ‘Forgot login details

Step 3: Key in one of the following and ‘Submit’:

  • Debit Card + PIN
  • Credit Card + Validity Date + PIN
  • Access ID + PIN

Step 3: Verify your details with SMS OTP

Step 4: Upon verification, your username will be displayed on screen. Proceed to create a new password.

Once confirmed, you may proceed to login with your newly created password.

 

Please visit one of our branches for assistance if any of the below applies to you:

  • you do not have the required credentials to reset your password online; or
  • you have not logged in to Maybank2u in the past 12 months; or
  • the attempt is unsuccessful

Alternatively, you may submit the E-Services form via mail to reset your Maybank2u access.
