Important Updates to the TREATS Points Rewards Programme

Effective from 1 July 2025, Maybank Debit Cards' TREATS Points Rewards Programme will be revised.

Transactions under the following Merchant Category Codes (“MCC”) will no longer be eligible to earn TREATS Points

  • MCC 7523 – Automobile Parking Lots & Garage
  • MCC 8651 – Political Organisations
  • MCC 8661 – Religious Organisations
  • MCC 8398 – Charitable and Social Services Organisations

Retail Spending Limits and Retail Purchase Function

Your Maybank Manchester United Platinum Visa Debit Card comes with a default Daily and Monthly Retail Spending Limit of S$1,000 and S$3,000 respectively.

Please visit any local Maybank ATMs if you wish to change your Retail Spending Limits, or to deactivate the retail purchase function on your Maybank Debit Card.

To change your Daily and Monthly Spending Limits and/or deactivate your retail purchase function:

Step 1: Proceed to any Maybank Singapore ATM

Step 2: Insert your Maybank Debit Card

Step 3: Key in your 6-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN)

Step 4: Select “More Services” from the main menu

Step 5: Select the option “Change Debit Card Retail Spending Limits”

Step 6: Select your preferred Daily Spending Limit. To deactivate retail purchase function, select “DO NOT activate Card for above services”

Step 7: Select your preferred Monthly Spending Limit

Step 8: Confirm the Daily and Monthly Spending Limits to be applied on your Debit Card

 

Note: Only Visa retail and contactless purchase function will be disabled upon deactivation of retail purchase function.

Fees & Charges

  • Annual Fee: Nil
  • Card replacement fee for existing Manchester United Platinum Visa Debit Cardmembers: S$10 (before GST)
  • Usual service fees for Savings and/or Current Accounts apply

Eligibility

  • Age: 16 and above
  • Singapore Citizens, Singapore Permanent Residents, or Foreigners with valid Employment Pass or Work Permit
  • Application of the limited edition Maybank Manchester United Platinum Visa Debit Card is only available via Maybank Branches and to be accompanied with a new Savings or Current Account Opening. Click here for the nearest Maybank branch.

 

Eligible Accounts: PremierOne Account, iSAVvy Savings Account, iSAVvy Savings Plus Account, Savings Account, SaveUP Account, Privilege Plus Savings Account, iSAVvy Savings Account-i, PremierOne Account-i, Savings Account-i and Ar-Rihla Regular Savings Account.

Non-eligible Accounts: Accounts with overdraft, CreditAble Account, Loan Servicing Account, Youngstarz Account, and Trust Account with minors.
