Discontinuation of Passbook Issuance for New Maybank Savings Accounts

Effective 1 October 2025, Maybank will cease issuance of Passbooks for new account openings.

• Bonus hibah may be distributed at the Bank’s discretion to eligible customers
• Account access is available 24/7 via Maybank2u Online and Mobile Banking
• Payments can be made at NETS and FlashPay acceptance points using the Maybank Platinum Debit Card
• Withdrawals can be made at all Maybank and atm⁵ network ATMs in Singapore without administrative fees
• The Money Lock feature allows funds to be earmarked to restrict withdrawals temporarily

• The Passbook Savings Account is no longer open for new applications. Existing account holders can continue using their account with no changes to features or access.
