How to open a bank account online

Online account opening service is available to Singapore citizens, Singapore Permanent Residents, FIN-holders* and Maybank Malaysia customers.

*FIN-holders refer to holders of Employment Pass, S-Pass, Long-term Social Visit Pass and Student Pass.

Step 1: Launch the app and tap ‘Log in now’ > ‘New to Maybank2u SG? Apply for an account or card now’.

Step 2: Browse through various accounts and select one that best fits your needs

Step 3: Tap ‘Apply’ > ‘Retrieve Myinfo with singpass’

Step 4: Provide your details, verify and authorise the application and you’re done! Proceed to create your Maybank2u credentials.
