How to set up eGIRO

Setting up eGIRO to pay Maybank Hire Purchase loan

1. For customers with access to online banking

Maybank2u SG app

Step 1: On the app, tap ‘Accounts’ on bottom navigation bar > swipe left or tap ‘Loans’

Step 2: Tap on selected loan > ‘Set Up eGIRO’

Step 3: Tap on ‘Pay From’ and select the Third Party Bank

You will be redirected to Third Party Bank to proceed. Follow on screen instructions to complete the setup.

Maybank2u Online Banking app

Step 1: Log in to Maybank2u Online Banking > ‘My accounts’ > ‘Loans’

Step 2: On the selected loan, click on the ‘…’ button and select 'Set up eGIRO’

Step 3: Click on ‘Pay From’ and select the Third Party Bank. You will be redirected to Third Party Bank to proceed. Follow on screen instructions to complete the setup

2. For customers without access to online banking

Step 1: Visit here to setup eGIRO

Step 2: Select ‘Hire Purchase/ Car Loan’ from drop down menu

Step 3: Select whether the vehicle type belongs to ‘Personal’ or ‘Company’

Step 4: Provide the necessary details and authenticate the transaction. You will be redirected to Third Party Bank to proceed. Follow on screen instructions to complete the setup

Setting up eGIRO to pay to billing organisations

Step 1: Access eGIRO registration page from the billing organisation website

Step 2: Select Maybank Singapore Limited and submit the application

Step 3: You will be redirected to Maybank2u Online Banking, login with your credential to proceed

Step 4: Select your Maybank debiting account and approve the request

Step 5: You will be redirected back to your billing organisation website to check the status of your application
