How to register for Secure2u Digital Token

Secure2u is your digital token on Maybank2u SG app to authorise logins and transactions on Maybank2u Online and Mobile banking, as well as online card transactions.

Secure2u pairs your device with your Maybank2u account, offering an extra level of security as all transactions performed can only be authorised on your registered device. This unique device binding reduces your exposure to SMS TAC fraud.

There are 3 ways to register for Secure2u Digital Token on Maybank2u SG app

Step 1: Tap on ‘Secure2u’ under Quick Actions. (Alternatively, tap the ‘Settings’ icon > ‘Maybank2u’ > toggle to enable Secure2u)

Step 2: Tap on ‘Register’

1. Physical Token

Step 3: Tap ‘Setup with Security Token’

Step 4: Enter the transaction code generated from your token.

2. Via Email OTP and SMS OTP

Step 3: Tap ‘Use another method’.

Step 4: Confirm your registered email address and enter the OTP.

Step 5: Confirm your registered mobile number & enter the OTP.

3. Registration Code and SMS OTP

Step 3: Tap ‘Use another method’.

Step 4: Tap on ‘Not Mine’ to indicate that email address is incorrect or not updated

Step 5: Tap on ‘Confirm’ to verify your registered mailing address

Step 6: Registration Code has been successfully requested. Tap on ‘Done’ to exit

Step 7: Upon receiving your registration code by post, tap on ‘Secure2u’ on the app and enter the registration code

Step 8: Confirm your Registered Mobile number and enter your OTP

Note:

• Selected customers are required to provide additional verification via Singpass Face Verification. When prompted, follow on screen instructions
• Cooling period applies. Certain transactions will only be available after the cooling period is over. Click here for more details
