How to perform Kill Switch

Suspend your Maybank2u digital banking access via Kill Switch in an event of an emergency, such as scam or fraud.

Suspension of digital banking access is immediate. Once your access is suspended, you will no longer be able to log in to Maybank2u online or mobile banking.

Maybank2u SG app

Step 1: On the app, tap ‘Kill Switch’ under Quick Actions.
(Alternatively, go to ‘Settings’ > ‘Maybank2u’ > ‘Kill Switch’

Step 2: Tap on ‘Suspend Maybank2u Access’
Follow the on screen instruction to proceed to suspend

Maybank2u Online Banking

Step 1: Log in to Maybank2u Online Banking, click on ‘Settings’ on top right corner of the page

Step 2: Go to ‘Security’ > ‘Kill Switch’ > ‘Suspend’

Note:

• Once your digital banking access is suspended, you will no longer be able to log in to Maybank2u online or mobile banking.
• To re-activate your Maybank2u online and mobile banking access, you will need to visit any of our Maybank Singapore branches with your NRIC or passport.
